Everything My Mother Taught Me by Alice Hoffman

A calm before the storm

This was a really interesting read. I really enjoy this one a lot. I like how the child could her calling from being on that island , and Julia. I just wondered why ask if her siblings a wanted to come with her for a better life than one that they were living with when it came to their terrible mother who cared more about sleep lying with men than raising her own children. I kind of wished that we gotten more insight on her siblings as well.
