I found this book to be disappointing. First, the story is pretty dang slow, following the protagonist around through small, menial tasks. And despite the story centering around Addie, you learn almost nothing about her personality or anything much about her, which made her fall flat as a character. The antagonist/monster reveal was disappointing as well - it wasn't a ghost story, but more of an undead situation. The buildup and suspense to the reveal was well done.
