Comical, funny, ironic and yet intense, moving, complex. The movie does not do the novel justice. Take a trip inside a heartbroken, confused man's brain and the eternal optimistic point of view that turns out to be entirely .... accurate. Everyone needs to feel like there are "silver linings" to make everything better. This novel is inspirational and the characters are brutally honest and complex individuals who you may very well find yourself learning a lot from. HIGHLY recommended.
