Did not finish book. Stopped at 56%.

I seldom record DNFs these days but I wanted to register with prejudice how useless I found this book. The chapter on beats is good, but it could have been an article. The rest of the book is so bloated and gimmicky as to constitute a scam. Save your money: write roughly 40 scenes, including the scene's arc and source of conflict. Good luck to you.
