The bookseller in Zurich was tremendously enthusiastic for this book. I told her I was buying it for my daughter, the bookseller said it was perfect because every woman should read it. I said my daughter had two dads and not a mom, thus I want to help her discover her vagina vulva in the most enlightened way. And she's only 8. The bookseller was even more excited, she said everyone should read this, and my boy who's also 8 should read it too, though perhaps most of the book is not for them just yet because of the parts regarding having sex. Since I knew my children might browse this book but certainly not read it (this is a graphic tome but with lots of text), I bought it, gave it to my daughter who was very curious about it and said she wants to keep it her room, and read it myself later (not to her). It's wonderful. I can only hope that my daughter will keep picking it and slowly discovering it. I want her to be proud of her vulva, knowledgeable about her little penis (her clitoris), and equally proud of menstruation. If you're shocked reading this, please this book. If you're shocked to find out that the actual size of the clitoris was only discovered in 1998 (yes, only 20 years ago), you should read this book. "Imagine if another organ - say the pancreas - had been described completely wrong by everyone until 1998!"
