Oh my sweet heavens this book was magical. Magical. Was it perfect? No, but what is perfect? Was it sensational, sexy, emotional, powerful enough to bring tears to my eyes and goosebumps to my arms? YUP.
The dynamic between Marcus and April was precious. The side plot of the relationship with their PARENTS though was all too real and enough to make me cry a lot. A lot. The weaving of fanficfion, the snark against culture, the call outs of fatphobia in both fanfiction and reality...god this was just SO GOOD.
