A very sweet, lighthearted fantasy book with a charming cast of characters and one-too-many Britishisms for my liking, though that’s a minor gripe. The children are endearing, and definitely what kept me reading. I think, for me, one of the issues I had was the pacing. There were scenes that were far too drawn out, and others that I felt were cut too short, especially in terms of the developing relationships between Linus and the rest of the cast (and Arthur in particular). Overall, I don’t regret the read!
