i truly adored this book.
it was beautifully written and so authentic.
I really enjoyed getting to know the cousins who felt more like sisters - i think in aspects we can all relate to the cousin group or friend group that was so close growing up and just lost touch throughout life.
Big Chicas Don’t Cry really gave you a well rounded view of all the hardships and some highs of what a woman group can go through - from lost contact to relationships and family to difficulties in the workplace.
I truly felt connected with all of the characters by the end and didn’t want it to end. I would highly recommend picking this one up.
The narrator’s were excellent and I feel that is another reason why i enjoyed it so much, they kept me engaged and emotionally tied to the characters that they were portraying.
