Really enjoyed this historical-inspired fiction play on the haunted-house mystery set in colonial Mexico. Great detail of scene, and historical context. Solid character development, with intriguing back-stories of even secondary characters. I enjoyed the switching of point of view.
Some minor editing annoyances--repetitive use of particular adjectives, misuse of a word. Was a bit distracting but otherwise didn't ruin the mood.
