Turtles All the Way Down by John Green
5.0
I absolutely loved this book. It’s my third John Green book and I’m not surprised that I loved it . It is however , different from his others I read. Which is wonderful .
I have never suffered from anxiety , but I have many friends that do .. and this book truly gives us a clear picture of what goes on inside someone’s head when anxiety strikes . Each time my friend has told me ... “I can’t control it” ... I understand more now . And I’m sorry.
This book follows Aza and her friends throughout their school year where the father of one of their friends goes missing . A story following them through teen love, loss , responsibility , tragedy , scares , mental illness and more .
We have very relatable characters whom we wish we could just reach into the book and give a hug to .
I highly recommend this book to all.
