Wow! I felt bad for Ava (the main FC) in this one. She has had it rough, but she still somehow managed to look on the bright side and grab life by the horns. On the other hand, Alex is a COO of his families company, a genius with a 160 IQ, and an absolute grump. Sunshine meet grump trope!  
I gobbled this one up so quick. The banter was good, the smut was hot, and the lies and betrayal are at an all time high in this twisted romance. I did take .5 point away because of a fatphobic comment that was made by a character. It's not needed, and I didn't appreciate it. However, it won't stop me from reading the next book in the series.
