I wanted to read this book because I love the musical (I haven’t seen it I’ve only listened to it) so, if you’re interested in it for the same reason, I have to warn you they are very different. Nonetheless, I still loved this book. I’m a big fan of the way Neil Vizzini writes. He captures a teenagers mind perfectly and portrays anxiety and depression very realistically.
It definitely leaves you wanting more, ending with no epilogue or real conclusion exactly (if you read it you’ll understand why). I honestly thought it was going to end differently, it was quite a surprise how it left off. I do wish I knew what happened to Jeremy and the other characters though.
