The Last Thing He Told Me by Laura Dave

4.0

I once saw this on the shelf and debated over picking it up. While the plot sounded interesting, it wasn’t enough to make me buy it. But then I got my e-reader hooked up to my library and they had this available, so I read it.

And it is so good.

For the longest time, mystery was my favourite genre and this book reminded me why. I like how Hannah navigated what she was being told by multiple people and how she slowly uncovered the mystery.

I also liked how it told the whole story from her perspective, instead of going back and forth with other characters. It allowed us to find out facts and details and remember things as Hannah was.

It’s a classic mystery and it’s really well done.
