I think this is where the series starts to go downhill for me. It starts with an anti-fae/were/other group kidnapping Adam and almost all the pack. That was fine. But they were rogue government agents and that’s really never addressed. That rogue agents kidnap and murder werewolves just gets covered up. At the very end it’s discovered that it was all bankrolled by a vampire trying to take over Marcilia’s seethe. The entire thing has been a vampire plot for territory and they need Mercy to help fight off the vampire. On a positive note, Mercy is learning more about her walker powers and figuring out she has a touch of magic from being almost-Coyote’s daughter.
