All Hearts Come Home for Christmas by Sarah M. Eden

4.0

I kept hearing about this book and I'm glad that I was able to read it through Net Galley.

It's always fun revisiting characters you know so well and love like in Sarah M. Eden's book, Christmas at Falstone Castle. It was a sweet second chance at love story by someone I had never really thought of when it came to the Dangerous Duke. It helped shed light on the shadows of his life before he met Persephone.

Anita Stansfield's 'A Heart for Christmas' was really believable and a slow to strangers to lovers romance. Everyone's hearts were mended, figuratively and literally.

Esther Hatch adds the perfect humor to her books to keep it fun and fresh. I loved this take, a semi-prequel to 'The Roses of Feldstone'.

And with Joanna Barker's 'The Christmas Dress' I wish I could've seen what the dress looked like! And I loved the epilogue at the end.

I did think it was interesting that two stories involved seamstresses, its not a normal thought I'd make when it comes to a Regency romance at Christmastime but they were different enough that I don't think it mattered. All the authors did a wonderful job in such a short span of words by creating real characters dealing with broken hearts, loneliness, forgiveness, etc that it was heart-warming.
