Just One Day by Gayle Forman

Rereading after 8 years and I still think this would have made such a fun movie.

The fact that this contemporary is not all cutesy, but also tackles the topic of depression is one of the things that made it stand out to me when I first read it. While I enjoyed the physical journey through traveling, I loved exploring Allyson's emotional journey as well, and see her growth throughout the novel.

I also like how Shakespeare is woven into the story, and I really need to catch up on a few of his plays so that I can appreciate it to the fullest.

The ending is pretty rushed, compared to the rest of the book. And there is a lot of coincindental stuff just 'magically' making everything come together. Especially the sudden appearence of Wren and her role. I know a great part of the book is about accidental circumstances bringing Wilhem and Allyson on their path, but it was just hard to suspend my disbelief at the end there
