The spice was good but my personal feelings of the plot did not allow me to enjoy the book as much as others have. I found I didn’t love the characters as much and sometimes felt like they felt disdain for anyone except each other which was a stark difference from the love shown from the other books among the family. Idk Francesca and Michael might have made peace with the facts but personally it just felt like cheating the whole time. I would’ve wished that she and John weren’t truly in love or that Michael was not a close relative because I couldn’t get over those facts to truly enjoy their love story. It unfortunately was not for me personally.
