Characters: The MMC, Nate, is a very refreshing character to see. He’s so caring, kind and reassuring. I’m happy to see a healthy representation of a caring partner. PLUS he has SO much rizz. I wasn’t a huge fan of the FMC, Stas, at the start of the book. However, her character developed so well!! The Hockey boys are such a green flag, i love the whole relationship dynamics of the books and different personalities. My only criticism was that there’s a lot of characters introduced in the beginning but I eventually got the hang of all the characters.

Plot: Not much *exciting* happens in this book but sometimes that’s okay. I was definitely in a mood for a college romance rather than my usual dark romance 🫢 Still, I devoured this book! I was so hooked on the chemistry between the MC.

Writing: I’m so pleased with the writing. It’s easy to follow along and perfectly describes emotions and goes into detail about… never mind.

Overall: Read this book. It’s equal fluffy and spicy. The characters are fleshed out and the storyline is interesting. I really enjoyed the healthy communication between the characters and the fact arguments weren’t unnecessarily toxic.

*please note this book deals with issues of anxiety and touches on disordered eating.
