Very easy read, great world building- I didn't realize this was connected to a.pasy series but even jumping in at this book, everything was easy to follow. I'm not used to super slow-burn romance stories, but I'm really enjoying it. I assumed it was going to be a spicy book but there is little to no sexual engagement in this book, so if you're looking for that in a quick read, this is not the one for you, but the build up of the enemies to lovers is very good.
