The Wilderness of Girls by Madeline Claire Franklin
3.5

I was looking for an audio book on Libby that was available immediately and the cover of this book pulled me right in. I loved the tight relationship of the girls and how they bring Rhi into their found family. I also loved all the positive adult caregivers. Throughout listening to the book I kept thinking that I'd love to see this book made into a movie which is the sign of a good book to me. What I didn't like was all the questions I still had at the end of the book.
For instance, who wrote all the "book" excerpts that were included? Did they ever find out more about Mother? What happened the next time there was a full moon? Etc.
However, despite my lingering questions I think this was a good book. Note: I think the physical version might've been better because of the various multi-media inclusions.
