The Quiet Boy
by Nick Antosca
I found everything about this story to be engaging. My only issue with it was that I wanted more. My brain wants to fill in things that weren't explicitly stated in the story, but I also want to know how the author would have filled them in. This was thoroughly engaging. I don't know if there is anything I find more relatable than a 20 something teacher who isn't sure they are happy with the path they've chosen, but that they still want to help a child who is clearly in need. But I still don't know how I feel about the middle wolf. I almost never give higher than 4 stars for things that I read, but this affected me a lot, making me strongly wish for more of the story.
