This is such a cute best friends to lovers romance. Parker and Oakley have been friends since they were kids and have always been there for each other. Their friendship was so sweet and I loved how protective Oakley is.
I love me some enthusiastic bi-curiosity and these boys had nothing but enthusiasm for exploring their new relationship. These two might not be the best at communicating (bless them) but they had absolutely no problem accepting their desire for each other and it was so great to read.
I really appreciated the age of the characters, both Parker and Oakley are in their 30s when the story takes place and it’s always really nice to have characters that age who are still figuring themselves out. One of the characters is diabetic and while I’m not expert on the subject it definitely came across as a realistic and thoughtful portrayal.
All in all this was really lovely to read and I definitely recommend it.
