This book went in directions I did not expect. It had a broader scope than I had predicted when I picked it up. Not often do I come home excited to continue reading a story, but for this book I did. Loved the depth of the imagination, struggle and adventure. I did not expect to enjoy the main character as much as I did - a nice surprise.
