plurabelle 's review for:
Covet
by J.R. Ward
I loved everything about this book.
JR Ward has managed to beautifully bring to life a parallel version of the Caldwell NY from the world of the Black Dagger Brotherhood...with a few wonderful cameos by a few beloved characters from that series, as well.
This didn't feel anything like a BDB book, but yet felt TOTALLY like a JR Ward novel. The characters were believable and well thought out, the plot was detailed, but didn't drag for a second, and Ward's trademark snarkiness is on full display as well.
In Jim she has created a wonderfully reluctant hero. Who hopefully by the end of what I'm sure will be a fantastic new series, will manage to somehow find his own version of HEA.
Hands down one of the best books I've read in 2009.
