A Full Life: Reflections at Ninety
by Jimmy Carter
I really enjoyed reading this, though at times the stories felt disjointed or ended abruptly. If you know little about Jimmy Carter, this might not be the best place to start, but the book gives a thorough sense of who he is as a person and covers many of the key moments of his life. He may be too moderate for my modern political tastes, but he is a fundamentally good man and easily has been the greatest former president ever- he’s been a model for leadership after leaving the White House and accomplished more after leaving office than he did in it (and he did a lot while in office).
