This is a fun read, even though I didn't always enjoy the writing style. The delivery of the twist was fantastic; the telling of the story does a good job of making you suspect everyone at various times. I picked this up specifically because I was looking to read a locked-room mystery, but I also think the mainland plot could've made a good standalone investigative story.
