Theogony, Works and Days by Hesiod

3.0

My rating on this is a bit arbitrary. I'm a big lover of Greek myth, so I enjoyed it for that reason, but I was also struck by the similarity to the Bible: the numerous genealogies, random rules like "Do not make water as you go on the road" and "Never put the ladle upon the mixing bowl at a wine party, for malignant luck is attached to that." Thanks Hesiod, that explains all my misfortune, it's that bloody lade from my wine mixing bowl!
