Although this one took me a while it was a very interesting read. The points brought up in the novel are thought provoking and were at the time of writing very controversial. The main characters, Jude and Sue, were interesting and their struggle was sad and sometimes even depressing. There was a scene towards the end of their tale that was very shocking and had my mouth dropping open. A terrible tragedy and a very intriguing read.
