This manga series is just SO GOOD 💖ðŸ˜ðŸ’–
I must once again make it clear that I would risk life and limb for Yuriko and Gakurouta 🥺 They are everything to me!
I just love how sweet they are with one another. They’re both trying so hard to make a happy life together. It just warms my heart! In this volume in particular they were really struggling with accepting how much they didn’t know about one another, but they both eventually accept that these things take time.
It’s also just so sweet to see them share hobbies with one another. They both genuinely love to see the other person be happy, so it’s just so tender and loving to read about them.
Also. I loved that they talked about their marriage as not having to be confining to either of them. After meeting one of Yuriko’s friends, Gakurouta realizes he doesn’t want to lose Yuriko, but he also doesn’t want to permanently tie her down. Since Yuriko’s friend is a bi man, by reuniting with him, she also thinks about how she doesn’t want the marriage to keep Gakurouta from being happily with another man if said other man ever comes. They’re just both so considerate of one another. Makes me wanna scream at the top of my lungs.
Anyway ✨
This was an amazing volume! I can’t wait to continue this series, and lowkey I want them to be together forever just to prove that this is a viable type of platonic relationship 🥺
