I wanted to read this to learn more about the monarch migration, and I did, but it also is just a nice memoir on its own. Dykman is a pretty likable character and although she's a bit weird, as a reader you're rooting for her to complete her journey in a safe and satisfying way. This summer I released 46 monarch butterflies that I raised at home and reading more about them has made my experience as a amateur entomologist more interesting.
