Funny, interesting and an open critique that is still true up to today, this play's only downside is its ending. Abrupt and undoubtedly too Deus-ex-machina it breaks the rhythm of the play and, in my opinion makes it hard to relate to.
Still, its story is funny and enjoyable, and you laugh as the adventures and misadventures of a family trying to get rid of a manipulative scoundrel goes on and on. It also reminds us that the sinner sometimes is hidden behind the apparently holiest of men. Wolves in sheeps' clothing.
