it was a nice enough mystery story with a good plot and nice characters but i found it a bit long-winded and it only got really interesting towards the last ~150 pages. i think the characters weren't too deep and i found it all played out too good to be true in the end and before that, it just seemed so overdramatic. i still found the book okay, but i'd definitely say it's black's weakest one so far.
