Gates and Tallahassee have history of the secretly married kind, and now it's coming back to bite them in the ass.

Gates is a perpetual free spirit, always plotting the next adventure and the next thrill. But a medical emergency brings him home into the guest bedroom of his estranged husband's apartment. And Tallahassee is not in the mood to have Gates break his heart again.

Tallahassee more or less has his shit together, but something about Gates always throws him off. Like the divorce papers Gates never signed. But he can never cut Gates completely out. Not just because he's Steele's brother, but because there are a lot of unresolved feelings there. Feelings he doesn't want to touch again, but can't seem to ignore.

It takes time. And some pranks. And a few drunken confessions for them to get their shit together. But once they do, they communicate, and work through their past to start building their future together.

All in all, I'm glad for them.
