Thought provoking literary horror. I loved all the little details and I thought the food described in the novel perfectly balanced out the gore/blood. I found the character dynamics were spot on and I loved how Lydia finally accepted who she was. The only thing I really want to complain about is how I felt the relationship between Lydia and her mother was left unsettled.
