The Three Arks by Kevin George

Heads up!! Incoming!
This is a great series -- I just finished book 4 and am looking forward to starting on 5. Yes, there are some typos and missing words and a need for better editing, but for some reason it doesn't bother me. There are many subplots and a variety of characters that keep the story moving along nicely-- so nicely that it is hard to put down.
I just have this one nagging question that keeps pulling at my brain-- with only 3 months until impact, why have NO amateur astronomers noticed there is a comet headed towards Earth? Or for that matter, other nations? It's not like you can hide it. I think in the real world there would be information all over the internet about an incoming comet, even if the government ignored it, denied it, and labelled it as a conspiracy theory, as they often do, there would be YouTube videos, articles on blogs etc. all over the place. And in many languages from many countries. It would be very hard to keep it a secret as they have been doing.
But, since this is fiction, I will have to accept that for some reason this is not the case. It is still a good series.
