Dangerous Deeds by Beth Prentice
Did not finish book. Stopped at 61%.
I tried. I tried so hard, but I stopped at this point because it was so hard to read. I did skim through most of the rest of the story to at least get some answers. ...I was not satisfied with those answers.
This book is so heavy handed with its foreshadowing that it's really just giving you all the answers on a platter. And even then, the main character is the most clueless person on the planet. Someone stalking you? No effort to get their license plate. Locked windows are always open in the morning? Huh. No cause for concern! Some stalker broke into your house andfucking jacked off in your bed ? Huh. How strange! No reason to maybe change the locks and add some kind of security or anything.
Terribly cliche, INCREDIBLY unlikeable characters. Don't even get me started on the comically terrible boyfriend.
Also one of the characters had tojerk off a dog ? for.. reasons? what the fuck?
One star.
