First off, how the hell did I not know this book existed?
Second, why did it take me so long to read it?
Third, I suck. Forgive me fellow readers.

The Tales of Beedle the Bard was filled with about five short stories. Each story is a fairy tale that kids of the wizarding world grew up with. It was cute and adorable.. but my favorite thing about these stories were the comments made by Dumbledore. God, I miss him so much.

Now I don't know about you, but I don't remember being told fairy tales when I was growing up. My parents reading Dr. Seuss? You bet your ass they did. Sticking me in front of the TV to learn about sharing and love from Barney? Yep, did that too. Owning every Disney movie ever made (whether it's on vhs tapes (ancient things) or dvds)? Everyone has goals. Mine are achievable.

As for fairy tales? Nope, I just ended up reading about those all by myself but like when I got older.

These stories were adorable. I enjoyed every one of them. Just like the HP books/moves, I don't have an absolute favorite. They were all equally amazing and enjoyable to read.
