This was another messy af story. You know that if it’s written by JH, it will be messy™️.
Honestly, I didn’t have any great expectations for this one, but it still left me feeling meh. At times, it felt very clunky, with some details being drawn out while others were rushed over. This one yet again features instalove, which is def not for everyone.
As someone who has read the MPU way too many times, I couldn’t help noticing that the characters often felt like word for word carbon copies of the main MPU characters. That made it feel unoriginal and, honestly, a little lazy. I don’t need to read about the SAME characters by the SAME author in multiple series.
All in all, this was okay, and I might check out the next book in the series, even though I’m not all that excited about it.
