There's a lot going on in this book ... but overall, not much actually gets done.
Mac is still struggling with the book. The gang is still adjusting to the new Dani/Jada, with much more success than the previous book.
Mac/Barrons ... While I love these two, their story has been told ... there was a whole lot of recaping previous issues that I thought were resolved.
Lor/Jo ... I really love this pairing. Lor always makes me laugh. He's such a cave man ... but I love Jo's surprise at finding there's more to her cave man :)
Rhyodan ... that man is IMPRESSIVE. I've liked this character from his first introduction. He's a master at manipulation and chess. I have to say though, his attention to Dani may have caused severe chinks in his master plan. It's about to hit the fan, ya'll.
The Jada/Dani - Mac scene at the end of the book had me in tears. What Dani/Jada has gone through in her short life is staggering.
