This book has gotten a lot of mixed reviews, but I found it endearing. I like the trope of a watering hole where lots of different people meet up, you hear their stories, and stuff happens. This is one of those stories. It's supposed to be a story mosaic because of that trope, imo.

I've read lots of queer manga over the years, and an important thing to remember is that especially when it comes to trans people, my understanding is that Japanese people still largely don't know much about them relative to a Western audience. Consequently pretty much every manga that heavily features trans characters has a lot of explanatory exposition and some awkward intros. While a lot of people don't like that, I understand why it's probably there.

My main critique is that I hope the sex gets better in future issues ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
