I received an ARC of Brim Over Boot by Emmy Sanders from @gay.romance.reviews and was so excited to read this!
This is the second book in the Darling Brother’s Series and after being introduced to Colton Darling and his rival Noah King in book one, I needed their story.
This was an elite enemies to lovers story, Colton and Noah are rival farriers and the hatred and rivalry between these two is real!
Colton has an obsession with Noah and cannot seem to let it go, it often manifests is hilarious ways. The tension is palpable throughout this story, I loved their banter and chemistry as they navigated their new found attraction to each other.
I absolutely adored Noah King, what a beautiful soul, his relationship with his uncle, his backstory made my heart ache. Noah could read Colton so well dispite his struggle and protests. Noah was possessive and patient and knew exactly what Colton needed. I was so curious as to how and why he and Colton became enemies in the first place, oh and it hit when we found out the reason.
This story had so many heartwarming, swoony, sweet and funny moments, the town events were a highlight, as were every member of the Darling family. I adore them all, especially Remi and I cannot wait to read the next instalment!
