I didn’t think I’d enjoy this at first because the beginning started off very slow (which is why I attempted to read this about 3 times before) but as the story unravelled, I was sucked into Gifty’s thoughts on religion and science and her experiences with mental health, her family and guilt. Great book.  

The topics are very heavy especially on addiction so expect to feel very sad when reading this.
