Life in The Hole carries on as Caiman and Nikaido prepare for the Night of the Living Dead, where humans and monks work to keep the undead at bay (while also competing for fun prizes). Their fun(?) is interrupted with the arrival of Shin, Noi, Fujita, and Ebisu, who've come to dispatch the unruly sorcerer-killers. Caiman loses his head and Nikaido reveals a shocking secret, and while the pair work with Doc to recover, the sorcerers follow a wild Turkey chase involving The Man In The Mouth and a pair of Cross eyes. With a prizefight on the horizon, what will we learn? The rest is lost in chaos.

Volume 2 continues the energy of Volume 1, serving juicy and crispy gyoza realness with zombies, "heads will roll", secrets, a fancy Turkey dinner, motorbikes that double as brooms, smoke in the water (and the air, and the food, and the walls), boxing, formaldehyde, El Corazon, masks, and a healthy serving of suspicion and bad dreams to top it all off. We get a nice look at the parallel stories occurring here, switching between Caiman and Nikaido in The Hole, and the sorcerers doing sorcerer things in their world, with a crossover early on that will definitely come back to bite everyone (without the zombification hopefully) in the future. I also love the one-shot stories at the end - we get a glimpse into Devils in these so far and I feel they're going to be more central players in the plot in the future. Onto Volume 3!
