I wish I understood this book the way others do but it just didn't really do that much for me. It borders pretentious and some of the parts read to me like a 2013 aesthetic tumblr post under the same vein as the fault in our stars's "this cigarette is a metaphor." I did like elements of this and I can't help but give Olivie Blake her 10s because even if I didn't personally get it, I can understand that she is a fantastic author and for that I can't give this book a bad review.
