Star Trek, Volume 7: The Khitomer Conflict by Mike Johnson

4.0

This was the followup to Into Darkness that I was wanting. It furthers the attempted war with the Klingons, the implications of the future tech from the Narada, and delivers a fun, action-packed space adventure with all of our favorite characters. My complaints are
Spoilerthe poor handling of Yuki Sulu's arc and the escalating secret arms race around Section 31 and Narada technology that raises its head but seems to have little consequence by the end of the story
, and I am also disappointed how little time is spent developing the new characters introduced. One could argue that, much like the away team members of old, these characters don't need developed, but I want to know more about these redshirts and command-track lieutenants.
