On a quest to find a litrpg that I like

A meandering adventure through a world that feels comfortably familiar yet just different enough to make exploration interesting. All the staples of the litrpg Isekai are present as expected- main character suddenly transported to a magical world, explicit game mechanics being part of the world's everyday reality, fantasy staples such as gods and fallen empires with a slight twists. They are mostly used in moderation though and the character building is paid more attention than is typical of the genre.

The humor was simple but worked for me. I did not expect to get that much mileage out of a joke about people not being able to say "v" but it hit just the right balance of being mildly disappointed but not really bothered about people not being able to pronounce your name.

Overall, I had fun. The best litrpg I've read so far, not that it is a high bar to clear.
