A short, dark comedy about a future where aliens land on Earth and bring technology so advanced that it destroys the human economy. It's a really clear and interesting metaphor for colonialism and it provides a lot of interested commentary on cultural appropriation in general. Even in 150 pages, it manages to be depressing, bitingly funny, and thought-provoking.
