Overall I liked it well enough, except for the penultimate story, which I ended up skipping.
I absolutely loved Jim Butcher's "A Fistful of Warlocks," which was the story I bought the book to read. Parts of it made me grin. One quote for the coffee-lovers out there:
"Some other Wardens thought my coffee-making spells to be a frivolous waste of time in the face of all the darkness in the world–but what good is magic if it cannot be used to make a delicious cup of fine beverage?"
