<SPOILER> I literally hate thrillers and the writing in this was absolutely TERRIBLE. At times it felt like this was a high school english class project. I also didn’t like how Tom killing his dad was such a huge deal and then SO quickly brushed over in like a paragraph. like ??? That’s massive and was a story line throughout the whole book? Also if Tom is also a psycho then why did him and Daisy break up in the first place? Like I wanna know what happened, was it because she killed Slug? Ig that’s assumed.
ALSO SYDNEY IS LITERALLY DUMB. Girl, get a restraining order. CALL THE POLICE. MOVE!!! MOOOOVEEE!!! I would literally leave NYC and move back in w my parents fr like this girl is SO DUMB and she STAYED LIVING THERE AFTERWARDS?? BY HERSELF?? Get out of here.
Positives: the twist was good, something I wasn’t expecting. Also, it was very fast paced so I got through it quickly. </SPOILER>
