Callie (Callypso) is a siren. Human but yet more.
She meets the Bargainer on one of the worst nights of her life - or perhaps more accurately on the culmination of many terrible nights. She calls him.
But the Bargainer only makes bargains. And at some point, he expects them to be repaid.
Callie never thought she’d repay all her debts seven years later, but that’s when the Bargainer finally comes to call again.

This time, the Bargainer needs her help to figure out what’s going on in the Otherworld of the Fae.
And there’s something unfinished about him and Callie.

I loved the premise of this book, and though it captivated me while I was reading, it wasn’t the type of book I couldn’t put down. I was a bit frustrated by the lack of resolution in some areas leading clearly into a sequel. That normally wouldn’t bother me so much but it did this time.  🤷🏻‍♀️
